Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings.
     I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
     It has now been 34 weeks since beginning this years mission. So far we've enjoyed the privilege of sharing the gospel in song with 108 Nursing Homes and 28 Churches. To God Be The Glory!
          Monday August 23 rd ~
     Sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home in Brookings, Oregon.
     Published the update from a Pizzeria down at the Docks.
     Then crossed the border into California.
          Tuesday August 24 th ~
     Ministered at the "Crescent City Health & Rehab Facility". Staff was very accommodating, bringing folks in and sticking around to help and encourage. Although this is an older complex, the atmosphere was sweet. 
          Wednesday August 25 th ~
     Drove south along the coast. Got in a walk on the Yukon Loop hiking trail overlooking the ocean. Then on into Eureka, California to the First Covenant Church where I was able to get a shower and permission to park while in the area.
     Hooked up with Dennis and Daphne, pastors of the Calvary Community Church where I attended mid-week services.
          Thursday August 26 th ~
     Enjoyed a nice lunch with the pastor and elder from Calvary Community. Then ministered at the "Pacific Healthcare & Rehab Facility".
          Friday August 27 th ~
     Got in a walk with Fred & friends.
     Ministered at "Ginny's" residential care home for five residents, one visitor and one staff member.
     Ended the day at Fred & Carolyn's enjoying a delicious dinner with two additional couples.
          Saturday August 28 th ~
     Did an oil change on the van.
          Sunday August 29 th ~
     Attended worship services at the "Calvary Community Church" in Fields Landing, California. These dear folks had me sing a couple of songs and share a little about the ministry. They even provided a sweet Offering to help me on my way. May God Bless Them!
     Enjoyed lunch with some Brothers & Sisters. As well as an afternoon and evening of fellowship with a small group.
     
And So Begins Another Week.
